We have an amazing chef line up this year!

The full celebrity line up for Seaham Food Festival has been confirmed with the announcement of the final chefs who will be taking to the cookery stage.

TV chefs Rosemary Shrager, Phil Vickery and Bishop Auckland’s Mike Bartley will appear at the cookery theatre on Saturday, accompanied by Chris Bavin who will be hosting.

These stars will be followed by world-renowned chocolatier Paul Young, who will be giving a cookery demonstration to festivalgoers on the Sunday. Joining Paul on Sunday is recent Great British Bake Off finalist Josh Smalley, closing off the weekend is former MTV Dirty Sanchez frontman Matt Pritchard. Matt has left his pranking days behind for his love of vegan food, health, and fitness.

This is the first year we’ve had a dedicated music stage at Seaham Food Festival.

On the Saturday we have an exciting line up showcasing some of the best Indie/Alternative bands from the region, including a mix of emerging talent and established names.

Sunday offers a more eclectic mix of genres ranging from pop, to country, jazz and rock n roll. 

At this year's Seaham Food Festival, don’t miss the Seascapes Project Stand.

The team will have a NEW Free app which has been launched to connect residents with coastal wildlife, heritage and immersive stories with wrecks and places along the Tyne to Tees coast.  The SeaScapes Coastal App is available free from your favourite app store.

It will ping you when you reach a spot of interest as you follow the King Charles III England Coast Path.

The team will be on hand to tell you all about the New App along with Reading the Rocks website.
